Every family has a story. For some of us, our family of origin is a solid foundation that feeds our confidence and helps us navigate life’s challenges. For others, it’s a source of pain, hurt, and conflict that can feel like a lifelong burden. This empowering guide offers clear advice for identifying dysfunctional family patterns and choosing the best path to breaking the cycle and moving forward. From the bestselling author Nedra Glover Tawwab, Drama Free is a road map for understanding and moving past family struggles—and living your life, your way.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated with where you are, the problem isn’t you. The problem is the power you give to other people. Two simple words—Let Them—will set you free. Mel Robbins, bestselling author and one of the world’s most respected experts on motivation, confidence, and mindset teaches you how to stop wasting energy on what you can’t control and start focusing on what truly matters: YOU. Your happiness. Your goals. Your life. Using a no-nonsense, science-backed approach, this easy-to-understand guide explains how you can apply the Let Them Theory in eight key areas of your life to make the biggest impact.

Check the Grosse Pointe Public Library or Harper Woods Public Library catalogs for copies of the book. Books can also be borrowed from The Family Center, just ask to borrow a copy when you register.
