Kristin’s vision is to provide a unique experience for improving emotional and mental health and wellness. Kristin’s mission is to provide a safe, calm and welcoming space for reflection, therapeutic intervention, and goal directed work. One of Kristin’s primary goals is to ensure that her services are accessible to a wide population of people.

She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with client-centered approaches in her practice. She also uses empathy and humor in her approach with people. She believes that people have more similarities with each other than differences, and that talk therapy has so much to offer.

About

Kristin began her career in the mental health field in 2011. She worked as a case manager for people diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness for a Community Mental Health agency in Oakland County for several years. She then worked as a clinical outpatient therapist for several years for two different agencies in Oakland County. In 2017, she transitioned to the hospital environment and work in the emergency room at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit completing psychiatric assessments, as well as case management assignments. She returned to clinical therapy at a private practice in Clinton Township and specialized in providing services to children, teens, and young adults diagnosed with a variety of disorders.

In 2019, Kristin opened her own therapy practice in St. Clair Shores. She provides mental health and emotional wellness services to children, teens, and adults.
