Practice/Mission/Vision Statement

My goal at Speech With Sara LLC is to help individuals improve their quality of life through better communication. Intervention plans are established based on a comprehensive evaluation with input from the client and/or their family. Research-based methods used to ensure efficient, meaningful progress is achieved by clients.

Most recently, I worked with students in public schools, which I enjoyed. I began my private practice because I believe individual therapy is more beneficial. Private therapy allows clients to have more opportunities each session practicing target skills and provides a more individualized approach. This combination generally allows clients to make more progress in a shorter time frame.

One of my biggest goals as a speech-language pathologist is to help children become confident communicators. Communication is fundamental for life. It surrounds us and opportunities to communicate present themselves everywhere everyday. Being a confident communicator creates a solid foundation for anything a child wants to achieve now and as an adult.

Speech with Sara LLC offers private speech therapy services in the Village shopping district of Grosse Pointe. Treatment plan and goals are based on a comprehensive evaluation and/or current IEP goals. Sessions integrate age-appropriate toys/games/literacy materials with research-based therapy methods. Home practice assigned as appropriate with parent education to increase progress and carryover of target skills beyond therapy. Progress updates provided at regular intervals. Speech With Sara LLC is a private pay provider (cash, checks or credit/FSA/HSA card); however receipts are medically-coded so clients may to submit for partial or full reimbursement from their health insurance based on coverage.
