We provide pediatric speech and language therapy services. We believe in building and maintaining positive relationships with our clients and their families. Steele Speech Services LLC uses play based therapy to help young children improve their communication skills. Our therapists are neurodiversity affirming and can support your young child on the autism spectrum. We have special interest in treatment for childhood apraxia of speech, selective mutism, speech sound disorders, among many other areas of communication. Our team works to establish strong community relationships and develop excellent client rapport through our skilled therapy services. Our goals include expansion into various pediatric services to maintain a whole-child therapeutic approach.

Brand new location opening in St. Clair Shores in May/June 2023!

We serve clients in Metro Detroit in several communities. Home visits may be available based on your location. We also provide telemedicine (virtual) services in the state of Michigan.

Steele Speech Services LLC is owned by Kaitlyn Steele, MS, CCC-SLP. Kaitlyn has experience in public schools, multidisciplinary outpatient clinics, and has been expanding her private practice since 2020 for private clients. Kaitlyn has special training in childhood apraxia of speech and autism spectrum. On staff is another speech-language pathologist, Claire Gawel, MA, CCC-SLP with a special interest in apraxia, selective mutism, and other communication disorders.
